Professor Jayne Webster

Jayne Webster has two decades of experience of international health and evaluation in low and middle income countries. She leads the REACH group at LSHTM (Research and Evaluation Applied to Complex interventions in Health), is Deputy Director of the Centre for Evaluation at LSHTM and Faculty Research Degrees Director. Jayne has worked both in research and in support to Ministries and International Health Partners on programme evaluation and design, often supporting the use of evidence for decision-making on strategy development for the delivery of public health interventions.
Jayne’s research over the last two decades has been mainly on implementation science and evaluation using a range of quantitative, qualitative and economic methods. This research has covered, malaria, nutrition, immunisation and family planning, with a particularly strong focus on malaria in pregnancy over the last ten years. Jayne’s research has covered many countries in both Africa, Asia and Indonesia.
